What are you doing this summer?  I worked at the Miller Center, where I was partnered with ONOW. ONOW is a fintech company that created a financial tracking system called DayTwo, aimed to help women entrepreneurs and businesses throughout Asia, Africa and America. I helped with their strategy to expand DayTwo into the US market.
Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation.  While working with a social entrepreneur, I learned a lot about how if given the right tools, anyone can achieve their dreams. The Miller Center and ONOW's mission deeply resonated with me because both organizations aimed to focus emerging technology, business, and financial literacy to helping people and creating social change.

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part of my time at the Miller Center was our intern watch party and potluck during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The entire office dressed up in jerseys and we all had the opportunity to bring foods and beverages to enjoy alongside the game, and work of course!
What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities? The best thing you can do is reach out to people early, and set up coffee chats or informational meetings. This way, you can learn more about the company you want to join and get a feel about how people feel working there. Never be afraid to reach out to current employees and create your network!
