What excited you about becoming a PCC? 

As a PCC, I am excited to provide career advice and mentorship to students who are searching for their first internship, especially transfer students as I am one myself.

What is your favorite career advice you’ve received?

The best career advice I have received is that when you have an upcoming interview to always do research on the company, the role you applied for, and the people who will be interviewing you to show your interest in the role and company. This will also allow you to effectively speak about your previous work experiences when answering questions during your interview.

What is one piece of advice you would give to students looking for internships?

A piece of advice I would give to students looking for internships is to be proactive when applying by tailoring your resume, submitting a cover letter even if it's optional, and directly reaching out to the recruiter or SCU alumni at the company you are applying to.
