Favorite memory from Santa Clara

  • My favorite memory from Santa Clara was my freshman orientation. I loved all of the energy from the admissions team, and all of the students that I met. I remember feeling so relieved and happy that I made the decision to go Santa Clara.

Extracurricular activities while a student at SCU

  • As a student, I was heavily involved in various parts of the SCU community. My largest contributions were a result of my involvement in ABP and Igwebuike. While in APB, I served as a staff member for 2 years & as the Vice President of APB during my senior year. As a member of APB, I planned and executed many campus wide events for the undergraduate student community. Most notably, the student concert and large scale events for each class. As VP, I led a team of students and aided in the production of various Bronco events. Similarly, I was an active club member of Igwebuike during my freshman through junior year, and a Board Member during my senior year. I performed in many culture shows and Love Jones shows and I had the honor of hosting Love Jones multiple times. I also hosted and performed in the culture show during my senior year. My interest and involvement with cultural clubs continued and resulted in me working for the Multi Cultural Center for 2 years. I was also a Public Health club member.

My hobbies and interests

  • Cook
  • Travel
  • Spend time with family
  • Creative Things (i.e. knitting & drawing)

Things I am good at...

  • Random facts: I am great at sudoku and parallel parking :)

Expertise that I have acquired in my life and career that I bring to my term of service on the SCU Alumni Board

  • As an event planner, organization and attention to detail are essential to what I do. I would bring those skills, along with my creative expertise, to the alumni board. I have a genuine passion for events and would love the opportunity to help design and create memorable experiences for our alumni community. I believe my creativity, organizational skills, and enthusiasm for events would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to the board.
